I had the opportunity to photograph some new friends of ours, the Jones'... actually in downtown Jonesborough, and we had a good laugh about that after the fact :) They are such a sweet family, and so relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera - even the 14 month old! I had such a great time doing this shoot, and as usual, a terrible time narrowing down my favorites. So, here are a whole bunch of 'em to look at! (If you want to see all of them, just click here).

~ Contact me and we will select a date & time for your party.

~ Invite friends for a fun event during which each attendee will have a small time slot for having their portrait taken.

~ I will bring a portable studio setup, although photos can be done indoors or outdoors, and each attendee will have several photo options to choose from for their products.

~ Jewelry samples will be on display as well as Christmas card samples, and orders will be taken within a specific time frame following the event.

~ And as hostess you receive order credit of your own!

My nephew, Joseph Michael, made his grand entrance on Friday, May 8 at 5:30 pm in Charlotte. I was able to stay a few days after they came home to do some newborn shots of this precious little guy. Here are a few of my favorites...

This past weekend, my sister Lindsey and I had the opportunity to spend a fun weekend in Charlotte with our other sister Leslie, and her husband Jonathan. Leslie is 7 months pregnant, and so of course I couldn't resist the chance to do a maternity session with them. It was a GORGEOUS weekend, and so it made for perfect lighting and light-weight clothing :) Here's my favorite photo of the bunch, although there a handful that come in at a close second.

One month ago I photographed the wedding of a very good friend of mine, Adele Gordinier. I left my boys behind and flew to Phoenix for the weekend. At the beginning of the month I photographed the McKinney siblings for Christmas - I just overlooked putting up this collage for you all! The three siblings and their families came together for holiday photos at Ryan & Sarah's house, and they were a great group. We did some indoor and some outdoor, and it was so great to get into the Christmas spirit so early!

Yesterday I had a fun photo session with the Reed kids. Their mom owns the Nursing Nook (www.nursingnook.com) and has been so helpful to me since Mark was born, so it was nice to be able to do something for her this time! They were hilarious, and we had fun doing photos in the new basement studio! They are so cute. I love kids and Christmas!

I had the opportunity to photograph my brother-in-law Tim and my future sister-in-law Kim's engagement photos when we were in Chicago recently. We went to Katherine Legge Memorial Park in Hinsdale, and it was a perfect day for it! When the sun came out we were able to shed our coats and get some great photos :)

I actually took this photo with my phone, as I did not take my camera on this trip in an effort to pack light. This is just one glimpse of how flashy and tacky but impressive this casino is. It was interesting in its own way but I was not unhappy to come home!
